R. Kelly's sit-down with Gayle King last week has already become infamous. A lot of people were asking why he would even do the interview.
Sources tell TMZ that R. Kelly's "spirit" told him to do it. He listens to his spirit more than the people around him. Kelly also thought this would give him the platform to clear his name.
R. Kelly is facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Speaking of his alleged victims, Lisa Van Allen, who was featured in the documentary, Surviving R.Kelly, sat down for an interview and revealed details that were not in the documentary.
Lisa claims that R.Kelly told her things in confidence, that he admitted to getting Aaliyah pregnant when she was 15 years old and the reason R.Kelly married Aaliyah and lied about her age in the process was so he would not be charged while they waited for her to get an abortion.
She also said that R.Kelly use to brag to her that he was having sex with Aaliyah's mother and when Aaliyah went to bed they would perform sexual acts on each other.
