Here are some suggestions to making it through the holidays with your new love and crazy family.
- Don't let the first time your family hears about your new person be the first time they meet them. Talk them up in advance.
- Know when to leave! As the day wears on and the alcohol pours steadily that's when things can get weird and family starts making comments. Leave early.
- Know your family. If you know they are going to try and embarrass you with old baby pictures, just flow with it.
- Make sure your family did not invite your ex! You know some families hold on to the exes. If you know your ex is going to attend abort mission!
