A semi truck erupted into flames this morning after it broke through barriers and onto rail tracks on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena. The collision was reported after 7 a.m. near Madre Street, causing closure of three westbound lanes and one eastbound lane.
The Pasadena Fire Department firefighters responded to the scene and said no one was injured in the incident.
The Gold Line was suspended in both directions while bus shuttles were transported passengers between Sierra Madre Villa and Allen station. The freeway conditions were slippery due to the overnight storm, however it was unclear if the rain was a factor in the crash.
