According to NBC News, Animal Protective Services is investigating a case that left a dog abandoned on the 101 freeway.
A witness reported a 2000 Chrysler Sebring two door convertible stopping on the freeway and tossing a small dog out from the passenger door around 2:30 pm on August 3rd near Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard exit.
