Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are giving back to a good cause. The rap star and his family recently participated in a nationwide lemonade stand event where they sold Yeezys for charity.
It all went down on Friday (March 22). All across the nation, participants launched lemonade stands in order to give back the funds to charitable causes in Indianapolis, Texas, Ohio, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and South Dakota.
West's pop-up shop was in his neighborhood of Calabasas, Calif. In addition to lemonade, he had exclusive Yeezys on deck.
According to TMZ, unreleased pairs of the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Geode" were going for $300. It was a family affair. Ye's kids participated by helping construct the stand and signs. Proceeds went to National Alliance on Mental Illness.
