It’s been 40 years since Sakal Dev Tuddu washed or cut his hair, the healer says that God told him not to cut or wash his hair and to stop drinking and smoking as a sacrifice.
Tuddu’s locs are 6 ft long, he puts them up in a white cloth when he goes out in public. Tuddu who worked for the forest department for 31 years now helps couples who want to have children, people travel to see him for healing and take pictures with him. Tuddu says his locs are a "Blessing from God."
The record for the longest locs belongs to Kenyan-born and now Florida resident, Asha Mandela, whose hair measured 110 feet at the age of 55.
