The internet sensation and owner of South Florida restaurant Nusr-Et, Nusret Gökçe(aka Salt Bae) is receiving backlash for serving a feast to a Venezuelan dictator, Nicolás Maduro.
Over 100 people gathered outside his restaurant in protest of the dictator being fed a $275 steak while people of his country go hungry.
Earlier, people began rating his restaurant with one star reviews until Yelp temporarily banned the comments.
The open protest is just a continuation of the outrage.
This isn't the first time Salt Bae's restaurant has been met with controversy. He also received backlash when a photo of him paying tribute to Fidel Castro surfaced, but has since been deleted.
