J. Cole Visited San Quentin State Prison To Speak With The Inmates

J. Cole rocked an orange jumpsuit at a Phoenix venue while on his 4 Your Eyez Only tour, accompanied onstage by actors dressed as police officers.

And on Tuesday (August 1st) Dreamville president Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad shared that he and Cole visited San Quentin State Prison to speak with some of the inmates serving life sentences.

"We got the opportunity to spend the day at San Quentin State Prison talking and meeting inmates who will never see the outside again," he wrote. "That experience was a life changing experience and wish I had the ability to put that in a caption but that wouldn't be doing it justice."

San Quentin State Prison is located just north of San Francisco and is one of the most famous prisons in the country.
