Did you notice any key players missing from the MTV VMAs last night?! Noticeably, Taylor Swift (who also got snubbed by the VMAs big time this year), Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and more were absent from the festivities.
The reason why Beyonce & Jay-Z weren't there was because they are currently on the road for their OTRII with a show tonight in South Carolina. A similar reason was for Taylor Swift who is on the road for her Reputation Stadium Tour - even though Camila Cabello (one of her opening acts) made it to the show, Taylor was unable to.
Rihanna wasn't there because she was in Havana for a friend's wedding. And Ed Sheeran has a show in San Francisco tonight.
It all comes down to priorities no matter how much they have been affected by the VMAs in the past.
