CA DMV Halts Behind-The-Wheel Driving Tests For At Least 2 Weeks

The DMV announced that all behind-the-wheel driving tests will be suspended for at least two weeks.

The decision was made after an increase in coronavirus infections rates.

“Behind-the-wheel drive tests require two people to share space in one vehicle and – while we have made numerous changes to safeguard the testing process – the current surge in COVID-19 cases presents increased risk to both parties,” DMV Director Steve Gordon said in a statement.

If you had behind-the-wheel driving test scheduled in the next two weeks it will automatically be rescheduled.
