Biggest Moments During the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion.

HBO Max’s “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” reunion special has aired and there are some things we need to unpack. With "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" being the first sitcom that Will Smith ever acted in, the rapper turned actor was very green and learned everyone’s lines in order to get it right. 

Music executive Benny Medina, responsible for acts such as Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Sean Combs, was the muse for the show. Parts of his life were included in Smith’s character, Will. 

In season five’s “Will’s Misery” Will pranked Carlton so badly that he “broke the fourth wall” which means he ran out of the Banks household, through other sets and the audience, something that had never been done before. 

Finally, Will Smith got all the Jordan weeks before their release and the cast helped the writers keep the show authentic to the black family experience.
