Donald Trump has ended negotiations for a new stimulus check with Democrats. He sent out a tweet that said
"I have instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election when, immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Business,"
It seems like Donald Trump is holding the Stimulus bill hostage until the Election, maybe making people feel like they have to vote for him to get the money.
Other's will argue that the Democrats packed the stimulus bill with other things and that's why Trump doesn't want to agree! He hinted towards that with this tweet.
It seems like the two sides can not agree on what the next Stimulus bill should look like, but in the end it's the American people who need help. The pandemic has caused so many people to lose their jobs and they have no idea how they're going to be able to pay their rent or bills! So in the end, the person that loses the most because they can't agree is the people.
