Soccer Legend and Manager of San Diego Loyal Soccer team walked his players off the field after opponent player called openly gay player midfielder Collin Martin an anti-gay slur. Landon Donovan clearly is explaining what happened to the ref and Rick Shantz, the coach of Phoenix. Landon gets frustrated because Rick Shantz just doesn't get it. He doesn't get it that it's Homophobic and they are not going to tolerate it because it's bigger than soccer. I applaud Landon Donovan for this and although a lot of people think that this is taking it too far, he is standing up for his players.
