According to reports Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa is suing the L.A. Sheriff's department over leaked photos from her husband and daughters crash site and causing emotional distress.
According to the paperwork
"no fewer than 8 sheriff's deputies at the crash site, pulled out their personal cell phones and snapped photos of the dead children, parents and coaches. The deputies took these photos for their own personal gratification."
The lawsuit also states that one of the deputies showed off the photos while he was at a bar in order to impress a girl. The bartender heard the conversation and called the Sheriff's department!
Apparently the Sheriff tried to cover up the situation by telling his deputies that they should delete the photos and if they did they would not face discipline
"Ms. Bryant feels ill at the thought of strangers gawking at images of her deceased husband and child, and she lives in fear that she or her children will one day confront horrific images of their loved ones online."
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, including punitive damages.
