Shaq Wants You To Know Joe Exotic from "Tiger King" is NOT his Friend!!!

Imagine Dragons' Sixth Annual Tyler Robinson Foundation Rise Up Gala at Wynn Las Vegas

If you've watched the Netflix documentary "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem & Madness" then you've seen the cameo from Shaq! Shaq visited the GW Zoo back and even gave Joe Exotic a plug on "Inside the NBA." Shaq says he's visited the zoo several times and even appeared on Joe's reality show in 2014.

Well since seeing these scenes a lot of people have been giving Shaq a hard time. So Shaq decided to addressed the situation on his podcast "The Big Podcast with Shaq" -- and claimed he had NO IDEA things were as bad as they were at the zoo.

"I was just a visitor. I met this guy. Not my friend. Don’t know him. Never had any business dealings with him, and I had no idea any of that stuff was going on,"

He did admit that he's made donations to the zoo but says he does stuff like that all the time, if you know anything about Shaq you know he has a huge heart and does a lot of good work in the community! But says he would never support the mistreatment of animals!

"People that know me know that I'm righteous. I don't harm tigers. I lover tigers."

"We found out that he’s involved with all the stuff, and then, actually, I stopped going.”

Shaq says he really likes the show -- he's binged watched it -- saying, "It's actually a really good documentary."

But again wants people to know he is NOT friends with Joe Exotic!
