Tekashi 6ix9ine Letters from Mom, Bodyguard Ask Judge for Leniency

Tekashi’s friends and family wrote letters to the judge asking for leniency in his case. Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, had letters from his mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez, who called him “a sweet, God-fearing boy,” who was scouted for basketball.

His bodyguard, Sam Sprouse, wrote that Hernandez is "one of the most amazingly talented, surprisingly humble and seemingly most misunderstood kid" he’s ever known and promised the judge to personally look after him and make sure he “stays on a path of redemption,” if released.

Other letters from his girlfriend, Jade and Tekashi wrote his own letter of apology to Judge Paul Engelmayer and laid out his plans for the future. Do you think Tekashi 6ix9ine deserves leniency in his case?
