Disney Responds To Disney+ Rumors

Has your Disney+ account been hacked?

Disney has released a statement regarding Disney+ users being hacked.

In a statement to Deadline, a Disney spokesman wrote, “We have found no evidence of a security breach.”

The statement went on to say “billions of usernames and passwords leaked from previous breaches at other companies, pre-dating the launch of Disney+, are being sold on the web.”

Disney says they continuously audit their security systems and if they find a problem they will lock the user's account and prompt them to select a new password.

Hackers will use email spam messages warning customers their Disney+ accounts are locked or that they need to update their payment information which ends with a user’s information being sold.
