Video Shows Cop Punch 17-Year-Old Boy With Closed Fist For Protecting Mom

This video was going around Facebook that showed a mother and cops getting into a very heated argument. One of the officers asked the mother to leave the school property. She went to pick up her her sons' and his cousins' belongings.

Cops told Daily Mail that the "student attempted to assault" the officer and apparently swung at him although no contact was ever made. But you don't see that in the video.

Also, you're a cop and these are students, if they tried to assault you there are other ways you should go about this rather than PUNCHING someone.

Indianapolis police Chief Bryan Roach released a statement Saturday telling the public that the police officials spent 36 hours reviewing the video of the incident and will be having "extensive internal discussions."

He continued, "Over the last 36 hours, IMPD leadership has spent time reviewing the video of Thursday’s incident at Shortridge High School and engaged in extensive internal discussions." "The video shows a clear image of a closed fist punch to the face, a technique which is not taught or reasonable given the facts known to us at this time," Roach said in a statement.
