Disneyland Paris Goes Into Lockdown After Loud Shots Were Reported

Can you imagine, going to Disneyland to enjoy a fun day but out of nowhere you hear loud shots. Well, that's what happened in Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris was put on lockdown after faulty escalator causes panicking crowds to flee amid fears blase noise. Families could be seen tearing away from the scene in fear around 9.30pm.

There were fears of explosions and even gunshots, but a spokesman for the RER station at Marne la Vallee said: 'It seems that a malfunctioning escalator has caused the problems.

France's Ministry of the Interior called the incident a false alarm: "security forces confirm there is no threat."
