Roddy Ricch recently sat down with DJ Akademiks’ for his Off the Record podcast where he addressed Meek Mill's accusations against Atlantic Records and why he left social media.
Roddy said, "My only situation with him, he know this so I can say whatever I want to say… One thing you not gone ever hear me do, I’m a real n***a, I don’t speak on s**t with n***as. I explained this to him, please let’s not speak on our business and situations if we can’t even call each other on the phone."
The "Ballin'" rapper said Meek has “a valid point” about his issues with the Atlantic, but made it clear that his relationship with Atlantic is different.
The Compton rapper also revealed why he left social media, "You gotta understand before the fame I wasn’t no Instagram n***a. If a motherf**ker just don’t understand, they not a fan. … I guess the world needs to see me a little more present."
Ricch said he went ghost on social media after getting a phone call about one of his family members having a heart attack.
