Disney has officially announced the Star Wars land opening dates on both coasts.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a special theme world paying homage to all things Star Wars, will first open in Anaheim, during the summer of 2019 and then Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, in autumn 2019. The land will be Disney's biggest "single-themed land expansion" ever, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
The mini theme parks, which are still under construction, will transport guests to a never seen before fully immersive planet. The parks will also feature two new signature attractions, one that lets visitors take control of the Millennium Falcon and another that puts them in the heart of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order.
Disney is also working on a Star Wars hotel where guests will train to become Jedi - again as an immersive experience.
Solo: A Star Wars story is currently in cinemas worldwide.
