Top Dawg Entertainment, home to Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, SiR, Lance Skiiiwalker, REASON and Zacari for TDE’s 6th Annual Holiday Concert/Toy Drive and Nickerson Gardens Community Day. The two-day event kicks off Wednesday, December 18th, with the concert featuring performances from TDE’s entire roster and surprise guests. 2018’s concert featured a performance from the Astroworld rapper Travis Scott, preceded by words from LA's very own Councilman Joe Buscaino. The annual event is embedded into the ethos of the LA label and extremely important to TDE as it focuses on giving back to the same community and neighborhood that gave TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith and many others in the TDE family their start. The annual Community Day provides the Nickerson Gardens community with things that all children and families should have around the holidays, such as gifts, clothing and food. Above all else, the annual event provides the community with hope and real life examples in the artists and people who make up the TDE family that no matter where you come from, you can do something positive and put yourself in the position to give back to your community. TDE encourages everyone who attends the event to respect the neighborhood and residents and work toward continuing to foster community by volunteering/getting involved and just having a good time when you show up. *A very special thanks to the various partners and groups involved who have donated their services and most importantly time to make this event possible every year.
