Ray J has fans worried after he posted a disturbing account of his experience at the BET Awards 2024.
On Monday morning, July 1, the artist-actor reposted photos from Power 105.1's Instagram to his own Instagram Story with a lengthy description of what happened to him at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
"Then it all went bad!" Ray J began. "First at #BET and then later on too! I'm really at a breakin [sic] point!"
"These chain of reactions stemming from being locked in a false reality/confused about this whole life!" he continued. "THe s**T that happened tonight to me at the awards today was hurtful."

Ray J had been at the venue since the pre-show festivities kicked off earlier that afternoon. During the live broadcast, the reality TV star said he was working backstage and took a break out back when people from BET's team allegedly didn't let him back inside "for some reason."
"I don't know who they didn't want me to see - it was weird - anyway I left and went back to silence my frustrations... The s**t that is happening is mind blowing - it's making me suicidal and uncomfortable with the perception of reality! THEY PAID ME TO SHUT UP AND I DID! I FEEL BAD AND I HATE MYSELF FOR IT!"
The message began to go downhill from there with Ray J saying before or "right after I die... I promise you I will be [free] of it all and the world can move on with what is real for me no matter the consequences I have to face on the other side!" He also apologized to his sister Brandy and said "I won't let them get away with it."
Ray J's post came hours after footage surfaced that appears to show his verbal altercation with Zeus network founder Lemuel Plummer. In the clip, you can see both men in a heated conversation before Ray J attempted to take a swing at Plummer. Watch the clip below.
