We've seen so many robbers lately finding new ways to steal from you and police are saying they're actually traveling from out of the country to come to LA to rob us! "Crime tourism" is the latest trend drawing criminals from as far away as South America to commit crimes here in the Southland. Ventura County alone seeing more than one hundred cases.
"This is crime tourism. They're coming here for the purpose of targeting neighborhoods," said Cmdr. Erik Buschow with the Ventura Sheriff's Office. "Specifically vehicles, homes. Not violent crimes, but they're going after the big bucks."
