Lottie.org surveyed thousands of songs from the 1950s through the 2010s across various genres.
According to the research, Lil Wayne was ranked the number 1 artist who uses curse words in their lyrics.
Who was number two? Jeezy! As a matter of fact, 9 of the top 10 artists were from Hip-Hop. Young Thug, Fabolous, Three 6 Mafia, Boosie, Ja Rule, Juvenile, and Master P are ranked in that order. The only non Hip Hop top curser was Country legend Johnny Cash. He came in 3rd place.
Getting into specifics, "sh*t" was the most commonly used swear word in songs in the 2010s, followed by "b*tch" and "hell."
