According to new court documents two Los Angeles police officers were fired from their job because they ignored a robbery call because they wanted to play Pokémon Go!
"An investigation revealed that Lozano and Mitchell heard the call but chose to ignore it in favor of pursuing a nearby Snorlax, a Pokémon character.
A video system in the pair’s car revealed that Mitchell managed to capture the Snorlax before the pair drove to a location where the Togetic character had been spotted. On arrival, both Lozano and Mitchell managed to capture the Togetic." - The Guardian
Now this event went down a few years ago but it's only been revealed now of what really happened through court documents!
There is some proof of what happened through the video system recording but the former officers are asking the video not be used in court.
But I'm just surprised that the officers were playing Pokémon Go while they were working!
