This jail staff has come up with a way to encourage inmates to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

According to The Olympian, the Benton County jail staff is offering ramen noodles to their inmates in oder to get the vaccine.

“To encourage and support COVID vaccination efforts, the Benton County Department of Corrections will be providing each inmate that starts their vaccination series with 10 FREE RAMEN NOODLE SOUPS!!!” said Scott Souza, chief of corrections for the Benton County Corrections Department.

“We’re doing everything we can do to incentivize vaccination and we are getting outstanding response,” he added.

No word yet if this has help bring inmates forward to obtain the vaccine but Souza explains how the Benton County jail has shared the information with other jails in the state to encourage theirs too.
