What would you do to defend your children?
A British mom was sentenced to life in prison for killing her husband with a boiling mixture of water and sugar after she was told he had sexually assaulted her two children.
According to news reports, Corinna Smith poured the boiling liquid over her husband, Michael Baines, as he slept in their bed. He suffered burns over one third of his body and died weeks later from his injuries.
Prosecutors said "the sugar and boiling water "made the liquid more viscous, thicker and stickier, so that it stays on the skin and causes greater damage and that is exactly what it did."
Smith was described as “livid” and “fuming” after hearing from her daughter that Baines sexually abused them when they were younger. The daughter said Baines had sexually abused her and her brother "for many years when they were children."
Such a wild story and without a doubt, a mother Corinna Smith will always defend their children.
