TMZ Reports that There has been a document filed from Vanessa Bryant for settlement in the Wrongful Death Lawsuit against Island Express, the Helicopter Company that owned the Helicopter that was involved in the deadly crash or Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, John Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Payton Chester, Sarah Chester, Christina Mauser and the pilot. Vanessa Bryant filed the lawsuit back in February and in the lawsuit it claimed that pilot Ara George Zobayan did not monitor the weather properly before taking off. The amount of settlement is undisclosed but I'm pretty sure it was a hefty sum and hopefully other families who also sued the Helicopter Company receive money. Vanessa Bryant isn't done yet, she is still suing the LA Sheriff's Department for leaking pictures of the crash site. We are still waiting to see if a settlement is reached. I'm not sure how much closure there is with this but no money in the world can bring back the family these families lost. Prayers continue to go out to the family and friends of every single victim involved in the deadly crash.
