Lauren London Reflects on Rebuilding After Losing Nipsey Hussle

During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Lauren London got candid about rebuilding after losing the "love of her life," Nispey Hussle.

“I think when really hard things happen to people it’s just hard to think that life will ever be sweet again,” London said during the interview. “So that’s something that I’m learning again, is how to do that.”

“I lost what I would say is the love of my life. … So I had to go so deep within myself. I was so in a dark space and it was just like, ‘What is this? Who am I? God, please show me,’ she continued.

"When you’re facing God face-on, you’re asking real questions and you want real answers. It wasn’t for play. I really wanted to know what was going on. So, I think it just has expanded because of my quest for peace.”

The L.A. native also spoke about how her and the Crenshaw rapper met back in 2013. Nip reportedly slid into her DM's and the rest was history.

“Nipsey made the biggest joke that L.A. was my gang, that I bang L.A.,” she said.

After losing Nipsey, London said she has spent her time focusing on her parenting and her spirituality.
