Getting a REAL ID just got a little bit easier.
The DMV announced that they have simplified the procThe California Department of Motor Vehicles announced that they have simplified the process for those who want to apply for a REAL ID.
The DMV will no longer ask folks to provide a Social Security card or W-2 to prove they have a Social Security number. Applicants will be able to simply provide their Social Security number moving forward.
