Have you ever lost something you couldn't get back? Well, a woman in Norwalk says she did.

According to CBS News, this Norwalk woman completely lost her $26 million lottery jackpot ticket. In fact, she claims the ticket got destroyed in the washing machine.

An Arco AM/PM employee in Norwalk explained how the woman did visit the store earlier this week and said she put the ticket into the pants pocket that went straight into the laundry.

The store’s manager told the news that there's surveillance video that shows the woman purchasing a lottery ticket so a copy of the surveillance video has been turned over to California Lottery officials for further investigation.

However, there's no word when the California Lottery officials will detect if the woman is the official winner of the $26 million lottery ticket.

So, I guess we will have to wait and see!
