Angelenos Can Apply For Up To $10K In Rent Relief

Good news for tenants in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles City Council approved a rent relief program earlier this month which will allow renters in L.A. to apply for up to to $10,000 in rent relief through the city's COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance program.

"Renters will have the ability to either have rent forgiven or a portion of their rent paid so they don’t get evicted,” Los Angeles Assemblyman Miguel Santiago said. “It doesn’t matter whether you’re documented, or undocumented in the city of Los Angeles.”

Applications are open until April 30. For more details and to apply for rent relief click here.
