New ‘Digital COVID Passport’ Linked To Vaccine Could Revive Travel

Officials in the United Kingdom are working with the airline industry to come up with a digital COVID passport that would be recognized internationally and help airlines identify vaccinated people easily.

If a common standard for certification isn’t put in place there is a fear that people would have to get re-vaccinated after traveling.

In addition, such a system would presumably require a global database accessible by thousands of interested parties, raising questions on privacy.

Do you think travelers should be required to be vaccinated in order to travel?

Should there be a global database to keep track of those who have been vaccinated?
