Jordan Peele is ready to continue putting in the work. The director’s next project is set to be a remake of the 1991 film, The People Under the Stairs.
According to Collider, Peele will produce the new film alongside Win Rosenfield through Monkeypaw Productions.
The People Under the Stairs follows the story of a house burglary gone wrong. A young boy nicked named Fool is trapped inside a fortified home owned by a mysterious couple. Now Fool quickly learns the true, sinister nature of the house's crazed, homicidal inhabitants and their secret creatures hidden deep within the home.
Peele has yet to announce his contribution as the film's director but we can say that the original The People Under the Stairs will celebrate its 29th anniversary in just a few days on November 1st.
