The Honda Center Opens Its Doors For Couples To Get Married

Couples Exchange Vows At Pop-Up Socially Distanced Marriage Booths At Honda Center

COVID-19 can't stop love!

In fact, more than 240 couples made their way to the Honda Center in Anaheim this week to get married after several of their ceremonies were postponed due to the pandemic. The arena held a special day on Tuesday, October 20th. People wore masks along with the physical social distancing and each couple got married in separate ticket booths.

"This is the first time we've ever done it at night," said Hugh Nguyen, the Honda Center Clerk told ABC 7. "When there's a combination of 10-20-2020 a lot of people feel it's lucky and it's been a busy day."

Those who are interested in getting hitched at the Honda Center are required to make an appointment. The service is offered on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through the rest of 2020.
