The Lakers earned their 17th NBA championship this past Sunday but there's still no official plans for a parade or L.A. celebration amid the pandemic.
There had been rumors of a possible virtual parade or celebration but the organization has yet to release any information.
According to the Los Angeles Times "no victory parade is planned through the streets of L.A., and no public team celebration in downtown will be held anytime soon."
Just yesterday the Lakers took to Twitter to say that they hope to celebrate with fans “as soon as it is safe to do so.”
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic it doesn't seem like the Lakers will have any public victory parade or public celebration.
