Recently Vanessa Bryant decided to sue the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department because some of their deputies decided to take photos of Kobe Bryant's crash site and share them in situations that did not involve the investigation.
Well now Gavin Newsom has signed a bill that makes it a crime for first responders to take unauthorized photos of deceased people at the scene of an accident or crime.
According to reports "Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said the department has a policy against taking and sharing crime scene photos, but it does not apply to accident scenes."
I think this new bill is a good thing because Vanessa has explained that it she worries that one day her daughters would come across these photos online one day.
