Hip-Hop fans have been glued to BET’s Ruff Ryders Chronicles and the most recent episode shines a light on Philadelphia exotic dancer turned rapper E-V-E.
In the episode, Eve talks about getting the opportunity to fly to L.A. to record her demo, which led to working with famed producer, Dr. Dre. Their working relationship was halted due to Dre signing Eminem. "I would literally show up to studio sessions that I wasn't supposed to be at where I knew Dre was gonna be and be like, 'So, when am I recording? When are you gonna put me in a song? What's going on?' I think he got sick of that and then I got dropped eight months later... I was devastated," said Eve.
Eve’s manager continued to work later finding her a deal at Ruff Ryder where she eventually signed and her dreams of becoming a Hip-Hop star came true.
