L.A. Closing Beaches July Fourth Weekend After Coronavirus Spike

If you were planning on hitting an L.A. beach this Fourth of July weekend, you might want to have a backup plan. According to a tweet sent from the County of L.A.'s account, L.A. County beaches will be closed this weekend. 

The News Release reads:

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is ordering L.A. County beaches closed from July 3 through July 6 at 5:00 a.m. to prevent dangerous crowding that results in the spread of deadly COVID-19.
