Wale Suprise Drops ‘The Imperfect Storm’ EP

Wale dropped the surprise EP, “The Imperfect Storm” which comes on the heels of countrywide protests in the wake of George Floyd’s murder by a Minneapolis police officer. “I try and watch the news, but I’m lashing out before crying out / My daughter seen a murder on cellular phone,” Wale raps on JUNE 5th / QueenZnGodZ, “We ain’t never been perfect, but this family ours / Yo America, tuck your shirt in, your devil is showing.” Wale says he recorded the 6-track EP, “with a revolutionary spark and his ancestor’s spirit.” The cover art for the EP was designed by Kenny Huyng and features an LAPD police car in flames. Which Juneteenth music release is your favorite?
