Los Angeles now requires residents to wear masks whenever they leave their homes. This is part of the city's ongoing effort to fight COVID-19.
Face Masks were already required inside of business places and on public transportation, but now it's necessary everywhere in L.A.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti made the announcement Wednesday night, and he hopes this will help reopen our city faster.
There are exceptions to the rules, small children, and some disabled individuals.
