In a couple parts of the country some people have decided to protest the lockdown orders from the government! Hundreds of protestors gathered in the streets of Denver to demand that the city's stay-at-home order is lifted!
At the moment Colorado has reported more than 9,700 coronavirus cases and 420 deaths! And the U.S. currently has the world's largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases with more than 750,000 infections and more than 40,500 deaths.
But knowing that didn't stop these people from protesting. Thankfully medical workers stood in their way and blocked the protest!
As if our nurses and doctors haven't been through enough - and putting their lives and their families lives on the line to help others, now they have to deal with people who are protesting the orders that will help us reduce the spread of this stupid virus!!
I fully understand that a lot of people are hurting financially, a lot of my friends have lost their jobs, but I also understand that this virus can hurt even more people if we don't do something about it! We can always rebuild the economy...we can't rebuild a life!
