Why Coronavirus Stimulus Checks Are Going Into The Wrong Account

Haven't gotten your stimulus check yet? You're not alone!

A lot of people were confused as to why their payment hasn't been credited to their bank account.

The IRS hasn't directly addressed the issue but, if you haven't gotten your payment yet, ask your bank account to verify if they received it.

The common problem people are experiencing is coming from the tax companies who use bank products for taxes. The checks are basically going into other accounts.

Tax expert Eab Nassif says, "The number that they're seeing is the banks that we use to process these returns and to take out the access fees appropriately. I think its just bad communication between the banks and the IRS on how they're supposed to handle this money, especially now that the money is being sent."
