News came out yesterday that a Nipsey Hussle documentary was going to be made and it was going to be directed by Ava DuVernay!
Ava is an AMAZING, she directed "13th" - "Selma" and the Netflix series "When They See Us." Ava is also from Lynwood and still active in her community so she is the perfect person to put this together!
According to reports there was a huge bidding war for the documentary which involved Amazon and Apple but it was Netflix that apparently beat everyone out.
Shortly after the news came out Nipsey Hussle's family released a statement.
