I can talk ALL DAY about how amazing the Super Bowl Halftime show was!!! But for now we'll just talk about the deeper moments during the halftime show.
The Moment Jennifer brought out that Feather Coat!! One side was the American Flag and the other side was the Puerto Rican Side!
During this moment they also sang "Born in the USA" - we all know this administration has not been that kind of Puerto Rico, everyone that lives in Puerto Rico is a US Citizen and deserve to be treated with the care and kindness like any other state.
The first moment that stood out to me was the message of Kids in cages. JLo's daughter Emme and a group of other young girls were in small light cages. Obviously they didn't look like traditional cages, these ones were more orb-like and lit up.
This was a reflection of this administration separating families and putting children in cages. Each of the girls wore a top with the American Flag on it!
The Kobe Tribute: during the press conference Jennifer was asked about the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant!
During the performance there was a cross that lit up in purple and yellow. Some people felt like the tribute should have been bigger but the show had been planned for so long, I'm not sure how much could have been changed.
