The world continues to mourn the death of NBA legend, Kobe Bryant and as tributes continue to pour in, Justin Timberlake remembers the basketball player and father as a “Champ, MVP, Legend, Hero, Inspiration, Father, and Friend.”
In the heartfelt Instagram post, Timberlake details how he met Bryant as a teenager and gushed about his physical and mental ability on and off the court.
Timberlake spoke of “The Vino Club” that both were a part of. The term was made up by Bryant to signify that they were growing old like fine wine.
Timberlake ends with the last conversation that he had with Bryant before his untimely passing, “the last conversation that we shared was about being fathers and what that meant. That was, beyond all the things that we could do in this world, our true legacy.”
