The new year has everyone making resolutions, setting goals and leaving bad things in the past! That is EXACTLY what Lizzo is doing!
As much as people LOVE Lizzo she definitely had her fair share of haters and people trying to take her down! She had multiple people try and say they didn't get enough credit for helping her write her songs or she stole their material.
She also had a lot of people make fun of her weight. One of her louder criticizers, Dr. Boyce Watkins recently said the only reason why Lizzo was popular was because of the"obesity epidemic in America."
"I’m popular because I write good songs and I’m talented and perform high energy hour and a half shows filled with love,"Lizzo responded."The only person who needs to do better is you. Keep my name out ya mouth & look in the mirror before you come for me. Here’s the attention you ordered."
But Lizzo is going to take a step back and take a break from twitter because the Trolls are too much right now!
Hopefully she won't be taking a break from Instagram but I think a break from social media is a good thing! Especially if there is a lot of negative energy out there!!
