LeBron James Filed To Trademark "Taco Tuesday"

According to Lawyer Josh Gerben, LeBron James might make the phrase "Taco Tuesday" his own. One of James' companies, LBJ Trademarks, LLC, has filed to trademark "Taco Tuesday" with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on August 15.

I definitely think that LeBron James helped make the phrase "Taco Tuesday" get MORE popular, but I don't think it would be right for him to have this trademark.

What about Taco restaurants?

Will they not be allowed to use this phrase as well?

According to USA Today, "The filing says the trademark will pertain to downloadable audio/visual works; advertising and marketing services provided by means of indirect methods of marketing communications, namely, social media; podcast services; and online entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring non-downloadable videos, and social media posts in the field of sports, entertainment, current events and popular culture."

How do others feel about this?
