Nipsey Hussle's brother Blacc Sam is in a legal battle with the Rolling 60 Crips over his brother's phrase "The Marathon Continues."
According to legal documents, Nipsey's brother filed for a trademark of "The Marathon Continues" on May 28 with the purpose of using the slogan for entertainment and community services.
The Rolling 60 Crips, on the other hand, filed a similar trademark for "TMC" to promote community events and "gang intervention" efforts.
Blacc Sam wants to keep the name in the family. The U.S. Patent And Trademark Office has confirmed the filings and will decide who profits from the name.
